ShareFest Service Day Projects

On Saturday, November 7th, 2009 churches like yours are invited to join other churches across the Tulsa Metro Area in a one day blitz of community service.

Each church is encouraged to select a service project(s) that is of significance to the community- one that blesses families, neighborhoods, or schools.

Each church is responsible for finding their own service day projects for the November 7th Service Day. Here is a list of ideas to get you started...

• Contact a school near your church to serve
• Contact a local service or parachurch organization
• Assess the needs of the neighborhoods around your church for service projects
• Renovate a home
• Community beautification
• Honor public servants, such as police officers and firefighters with a meal
• Host an event for special needs children, adults, or seniors
• Any other service project of your choosing

Your project should be scheduled for November 7th, 2009
